VirtualDJ build 8462: VirtualDJ 2025 and the StemSwap sampler

What changed

  • A new sampler with instant record and playback.
  • StemSwap banks: record stems on the fly and play them back as stem replacements.
  • Sample banks in sub-folders, paginated pads for large banks, and a new per-song bank that recalls samples with a track.
  • New default banks and new sampler settings.
  • Support for the AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 and DDJ-FLX2, and the Allen & Heath Xone:96.

For your library

Nothing in these notes points to a change in how the database, lists or history are stored. The new sampler keeps its own banks, and per-song banks tie samples to a track, so moving tracks is one more reason to keep paths healthy.
