Released 14 August 2024.
What changed
- Support for the Rane Performer and Reloop Mixtour Pro.
- TIDAL video search.
- Fixes deleted cached streaming songs still showing in the cached folder, and some set history not logged to the website.
- “Remove missing songs from database” now replaces missing cached streaming files with online links.
For your library
A word on VirtualDJ’s own Remove missing songs from database. It does what it says: songs whose files can’t be found are removed, along with their cue points, play counts and other history. That’s right for files you’ve truly deleted. For files that have only moved (a new drive, a renamed folder, a reorganised collection), removing them throws away years of preparation.
Repairing the paths keeps all of it, and repairing is what VDJTools is for. If you’ve got broken paths, before you reach for Remove:
- Start with a backup, so whatever you do can be undone.
- Run a health check to see how many songs are missing, and where.
- Read why the database comes first, then let AutoFix find where your songs went.
The change in this build only affects cached streaming files.
