Released 1 April 2024. The first build of VirtualDJ 2024, and the biggest library change in this series.
What changed
- CloudDrive: sync your lists to Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud or Dropbox, and stream them from anywhere.
- Library organisation: one unified MyLists, a quick toolbar of folder shortcuts, and a linked-track view with manual linking.
- Renamed: Lists & Advice is now Ideas, and Playlists is now MyLists.
- Smaller improvements such as fuzzy key mixing.
For your library
This is the one to read. VirtualDJ 2024 reorganises how your lists are kept: playlists become part of MyLists, and lists can now sync to the cloud. A few weeks later, build 8093 adds a setting to keep using classic .m3u playlists, which tells you the default way of storing them has changed.
VDJTools works with VirtualDJ 2023’s library formats today. We’re working through what 2024’s changes mean, build by build, and this series is part of that.
