For your library
watchFolders adds new files to your database automatically. It’s convenient, with one catch worth knowing: if you move tracks into a watched folder, VirtualDJ adds them as new entries, while the old entries, with your cue points and play counts, stay behind pointing at the old location. That leaves you with two entries for one song: a new one with no history, and the old one, broken. That’s exactly the broken-path problem VDJTools is built to find.
Official notes: VirtualDJ changelog, build 7544.
VDJTools is independent software and isn’t affiliated with VirtualDJ or Atomix Productions. This post is our summary; the official notes are the source.
