Nothing in these notes points to a change in how the database, lists or history are stored.
The new duplicates folder is worth a look alongside your repairs. Duplicates often come from moved files: VirtualDJ adds a moved track as a new entry while the old one stays behind, broken. Fixing broken paths first means that folder shows real duplicates rather than leftovers.
