VirtualDJ build 8184: a faster CloudDrive engine, SunFly karaoke, and lists on other disks

by

Released 5 June 2024.

What changed

  • A new CloudDrive engine for faster loading with large databases; it can stream .vdjedit files and karaoke .zip files, and synced folders keep their track order.
  • A new karaoke catalogue for the EU, UK and Middle East: SunFly.
  • Fixes editing filter folders in lists stored on other disks.
  • Cue points show on the waveform in the browser column.
  • Fixes for Mac video acceleration, Beatport minor keys, and saved loops in variable-BPM tracks.

For your library

“Lists stored on other disks” is worth noticing: VirtualDJ keeps lists on the drive where their songs live, not only in your home folder. When a drive is missing or its letter changes, those lists are where broken paths show up first.
