Released 5 December 2022.
What changed
- macOS: fixes a problem on macOS 10.x and 11 that the previous build introduced.
- macOS: VirtualDJ could pick up the home folder left behind by an old App Store install instead of your VirtualDJ 2021 home folder. That’s fixed.
- Windows: VirtualDJ now uses the graphics card automatically on AMD RX and Intel Arc cards.
For your library
The home-folder fix matters. The home folder is where your database, playlists, virtual folders and history live, so a Mac that opened the wrong one would have shown you an older library. If your library looked out of date after upgrading to VirtualDJ 2023 on a Mac, this was the likely cause.
VDJTools reads the home folder from VirtualDJ’s own settings, so it always works on the same library VirtualDJ is using.
