Folders Repair fixes broken references inside VirtualDJ’s virtual folders and favourite folders.

When to use it #

Use it when virtual folders or favourite folders point at files or directories that no longer exist.

What it repairs #

Broken song paths inside virtual folders, and missing shortcut directories inside favourite folders.

Typical workflow #

Export, then review the workbook entries for both songs and folder paths, validate, then import.

Safety notes #

If a large folder move caused the breakage, repair the database first so the rest of your library has a clean path baseline to work from.

Limitations #

Filter folders are dynamic and aren’t repaired — there’s nothing fixed to point at. Favourite folders are handled differently from ordinary file-path rows.

Common scenario #

One folder rename breaks a large number of virtual-folder references in one go.
