Validation is the checkpoint between editing and writing. It’s where VDJTools checks the workbook is internally sound before anything reaches your actual VirtualDJ files, and it’s your last real chance to catch a wrong path before it becomes a live change rather than an editable one.
If validation flags something, that’s not a failure, it’s the system working as intended. Go back into the workbook, correct the row, and validate again. It costs a minute. Skipping it, or treating it as a formality to click past, is how a single wrong AutoFix guess ends up written into your library instead of caught in review.
